Stock mail app not remembering last sync

Hi,

For several weeks I've been having a problem with mail app. When I go to sync mail it doesn't remember the previous time I synced mail on my iPhone. The mail it displays before it checks with the server is about 2 weeks ago and then it will re-download mail that I have previously downloaded to my iPhone, whether these are read emails or unread. It was prevously working problem free.

I can't seem to pin point the cause of this. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to stop it from happening.

Who is you email provider

I use googlemail

Hmm i never had this problem with google only cox and hotmail.

did you fix it for either of these providers?

Nope couldnt find away i messed with just about everything when i deleted them and restored my phone and re added i got hotmail towrk. But cox was a no go.

Thats what I think I'm gonna have to do - restore the phone. But it takes so long when its jailbroken!!
