My account has been hacked by an app i never downloaded!

I have not used my account for a month or 2 and today i go onto itunes to update some apps, when i try to update apps it says my account has been disabled so I emailed itunes to find out why.

Next I look at my recent purchases because all my remaining credit £22 has dissapeared, and find that an app has been downloaded and charged me for in app purchases to the sum of 21.90,

here is the app in question ?? Online for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on the iTunes App Store

First of all I never downloaded this app, so how the heck can it charge me for in app purchases.

And no one else has access to my account

I done some searches online and it seems there are people who are suffering the same problem, thank god I never had a credit card registered, becasue apparently some people are being charges hundreds.

I am very angry

emailed itunes again so we will see what they say

Thats all you really can do is wait for a response to apple. I have never seen or heard of this happening before.

This is why I don't have anything linked to my iTunes account (unless I get a gift card). My friend's dad had over $200 charged to his credit card by iTunes for songs we had never heard of and apps in foreign languages. The worst part is that they didn't have an iPhone/iPod Touch to use the apps on.

So for your people that got hacked did itunes refund your money back?

What do you do? Purchase a gift card by credit card and then use that until you need another one?

I buy a gift card with cash (no credit cards) if I REALLY want something. I usually get one or two for birthdays/Christmas.
