Why Apple charged me for Skype on AppStore ?
Hello,
Just got my iPhone 4 and tried to download Skype from iStore. It was declared to be free to download and install. After I agreed on terms , there was cancel and buy button for Skype entry, so I pressed buy because I thought that it will just download Skype, then I got message from my bank that apple charged me 1.98EUR for Skype.
How its possible ? Why its declated to be free if its not free ?
Thanx.

rather than complaining to a 3rd party... well actually 4th party... have you tried contacting apple or skype people?! you may get somewhere.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Apple did not actually charge you. They run a test charge to make sure your credit card on file is active. The charge wont appear on your statement.
