Anyone else not able to log into Twitter?

So around August 25, I noticed twitter started posting duplicate tweets every time I'd log in (usually the last tweet). After getting fed up with seeing it over and over again, I deleted the app and attempted to download and log in again.
Now every time I try to log in to twitter, it will just sit there saying it's authorizing and actually never log in. I'm using echofon as a back-up app now. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem with twitter too and knows a solution to it? I'm running an iPhone 3GS with 4.0.1 firmware jailbroken with sn0wbreeze.

I attempted that too. Deleted it off my phone and went and downloaded it on iTunes, then re-installed it back onto my phone. It still just sits there, authorizing.
