Making My Application For School

hey all, i have never used this forum before, but im seeking some "professional" kinda help

i am aiming to make an application that looks like a compass, but can point to another iPhone in the room. (maybe if they have the same app open at the time)

it is for a project i am doing with product design, and am aiming to get a "buddy find" compass working, and integrate this idea with the design of a watch.

i dont know the first thing about coding, but have already downloaded the programme Xcode and tried to work with it, but am having no luck so far

i dont want someone to make the app for me, but maybe if they could help me with how to write code, or write a portion for me as a guide i would be very appreciative of the help

That is not an easy thing to do for someome starting out...and the thing is , it's kinda tuff for something like that to be learned when u have no understanding of objective c. It's not as easy as you think...you have to learn a lot in order to master something like that...even if someone wrote the application for you and you looked at it, without understanding objective c, Xcode and interface builder, you won't understand the code itself and be confused....I suggest learning objective c then come back and have a go at ur app..
