Backing up app data!?

How do you go about backing up a apps settings, saved data, etc.. manually.

I mainly ask this for AwesomeNote, and Momento. Both apps are from ********** so they are cracked. I would like to be able to manually back up my saved notes and data up. Whenever I for example upgrade/restore my FW and try to restore from a backup all my AwesomeNote, and Momento entries are gone...
