Weird looking app icons

Howdy,

For the last couple of days, some of my icons look.. well.. odd. And even in the app store, they look a bit bizarre too... Some are square with a white box at the top, and some are just square where they should be rounded edges.

None are in categories, as I know that makes apps go square (sometimes).

I've checked on another iphone we have, and in the appstore everything looks as per norm and even the same ones i've d/l on my phone (that look weird) look normal on the other phone...

Nope.. Have had the theme for a while.. and most of my other icons are fine.
It's weird that most in the app store shop look like that too before even installing...

Try installing iWipe from Cydia. You might have to clear your icon cache.

Cheers.. but will that help.. as it's happening IN the app store.. just previewing like the top 25 and shtuff...

But I'll try anything once, I'm game :P

Edit: Ergh.. I hope you meant iwipe cache... not just the iwipe...

And.. nope... iwipe cache didn't work.. still stupid looking. *sigh*

Um.... and after running iwipe cache... another app has suddenly gone square...

Seems to me that it would have to be icon auto create overlays in the ui images still if iWipe Cache didn't work. odd for sure.

I swear you're trying to say something to me.. I just have no idea what it is..

I've had the same theme for ages.... changed nothing.. haven't even changed any other tweaky things in cydia for at least.. a few days.. before this weird icon issue. Just woke up.. looked.. hmm.. ICKY...

So.. I'm lost... If I have to do the whole restore thing again.. Ima gonna be cranky

Disable all themes in WinterBoard and see if it is still there.

Then run iWipe cache again

Disabled everything in winterboard.. still stupid looking icons.

Ran iwipe cache again...

FRICKEN GENIOUS....

Now to see about loading my themes and shtuff on...

Edit AGAIN: You are fricken .. awesome.. thanks.. reloaded my themes etc.. everything is it should be. Life is good again. So weird how it even changed the preview app icons in the app store though.. that's still got me kerfuzzled....
