I just synced my iPhone 3G (3.0.1) with iTunes (126.96.36.199) and noticed
"syncing Signature" appeared in the top status bar.
This was immediately after copying 3 or 4 apps installed on the iPhone to iTunes and before syncing Photos.
This is NEW (to me anyway ) Never seen this before
I checked the Application list. No new app was listed.
With all the 3GS security crapola going on, was wondering "is Apple doing something on the sly with the 3G?"
Any ideas ?

Interesting thought, but I doubt it. It occurred during the end of sync cycle after transferring iPhone app purchases to iTunes and before sync'ng picture. Contacts/email/calendar/notes had long since finished.

Quite interesting..I have never heard about the syncing signature for emails before. It might be because of the updated 3G. It can be a issue, though I am not sure about it.
Let me know if you come to know anything about it.mod/edit links removed
