So after trying both //1st tomtom then navigon... then tomtom again
I decided to go with navigon... tomtom was just not creative enough to come up with a good name for the product =]
in reality, I 1st really liked tomtom and disliked navigon, but when I got used to the interface (navigon) tomtom seemed really lame..
and thats all i have to say on this topic, i have to go and punish my wife now... c ya...

tried both. tomtom is nice and quick... Navigon 1.2 lags really bad in the menus for me.. especially putting in postcodes... nasty!! so I went with tomtom..

I think TomTom are going to have to come out with something pretty spectacular soon if they are going to survive long-term.
I see Google as potentially big players in this field.

Really...I enjoy a pretty logo. And I haven't had any problems with TomTom (except in heavy rain), and I've been unable to find a usable trial for Navigon North America.

Lol...its the standard appstore TomTom logo...just look it up there! I use the iboxcarbon theme though, which renders the background white

Not to mention, what name does Tom Tom have compared to Navigon.
If it were a Garmin app then i would say yeah i trust Garmin a lil more than navigon but Tom Tom, really is it cus they had a short spree of advertisements on tv a while back?

TomTom is much bigger than Navigon here in the US....
With that said.....I use the Navigon app, as I think it is superior to TomTom's
I wish Garmin would release an app
I love my Nuvi 885.

Can anybody, who is using Navigon, tell me how to turn the Reality view on?! I do not see any option as such. Do I need to install any other plugin or anything as such?!

Well, for me, it doesn't. Thats why I'm asking. Do I need to activate it somehow?!

Reality view comes up on various intersections that navigon sets up in reality view. So i dunno if there are many of these in the areas u live.
Or maybe u should know that reality view is not always on. Its just a guide for intersection with many onramps, exits, etc.

Has anyone ponied up for the live traffic yet? I have been reading about it and not real sure about it. Wish they would have used like google traffic or something like I have on XM traffic in the caddy.
