Apps won't show on springboard!

Ok, so I had my iPhone 3G jailbroken and had all my apps in categories through the categories app on cydia. Then my iPhone broke and I got a new one and restored the new one from the last backup on my old one. I did this restore on the new one BEFORE I jailbroke my new phone but the problem is is that when u download apps from the app store or cydia, they won't show up on my springboard! The app store and cydia says they are installed on my phone, but they aren't on my springboard! Once they finish downloading and installing they disappear! Amy answers?

Uhhh. categories... You have the icons still hidden. You need to install sbssettings or poof and unhide them.

Or go into settings - General - Restrictions

And enable then disable them. Everything will show up.
