Does anyone get good call quality over 3G?

Hi all, i got skype to work on my iPhone. I decided to just do a fresh restore to get the best reliability out of the phone. I just want to know what may be causing the phone to have perfect 3g skype reception, then just readonly drop the call for 3-4 seconds every minute? Is there w way to reduce the call quality? I would most definitely reduce the quality if it gives me an uninterrupted experience.

No luck yet. I just might do another restore.

there is a skype update today but beware:

Seems only installable via Itunes, and on first start you get a message - only supported on unmodified 2.2.

Although all seems to work perfect here - Text, Call, ...

I installed the update via Edge and got the very same message.
haven't tried if I could make calls with it, just downgraded to the previous version of Skype via itunes.

You can use it 1.02 - I think skype is just protecting its back - that way apple can not stress them because it works with edge etc.
