Default 2.2.1 apps sort of downgrade

Is it possible to run 2.2.1 apps on iPhone OS 2.2? If so, please enlighten me.

    Thanks in advance.

But will it affect my whole system? Affect my whole system meaning "upgrade" it to 2.2.1? Or it's just a way of fooling the phone into thinking that it's on a certain firmware just to install a certain game but its functions still is the firmware that it actually is on?

    Thank you.

It just fools the system - as him121213 pointed out to me before. I can conform it works but he did warn me that you shouldn't use logome to change your logo after using this.
    Other than that, no problems.
If it works for you I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you clicked the thanks button for him
