G-Map GPS questions....
does this software work with the 2G iphone? I thought it would somewhat, but I am having trouble with it.....

i would think it would not work with it at all. Even though it can triangulate your position using the cell towers... that not very exact. It might work for telling you where you are, but i can not see it working for turn by turn directions.

I was just trying to get it to show my current position, but it doesn't seem to do that.

I've used it, works splendidly, however it does require a GPS enabled phone.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

I'm waiting for xGPS 1.2 to come out on Cydia. It'll be free, and have turn-by-turn voice navigation. It looks like the developers are trying really hard to release a full-featured, bug-free product by March 7.
