MMS! Finally!
The MMS app is wonderful! I've used and it works great!
It's made by hook mobile. It works great. I'll upload some pics here in a second.8GB Apple iPhone

I've just used it and works very well! It sends a text mesage with a link to the pic, but very easy to use and it's free can't beat that.
The earlier bad reviews were mostly people that couldn't figure out how to get registered.
Enter your full 10 digit phone number and REAL first and last name. It's easy.

I was so excited to see we had MMS in the appstore. Should have known better than to get my hopes up. Nobody wants to get a picture message and have it show up as a stupid link, so they have to view it from a website. Some of my friends don't have internet plans on their phones, so they would get charged for even trying to open it.
Apple really needs to give us TRUE MMS.

This app sucks. It send s link to a picture, so unless you're friend can access the internet for free - it's useless.

You mean you have friends that don't have internet access on their phones?

Multimedia Messages is not available in the UK iStore nor is WIT Software | iPhone MMS but hopefully that will change soon....

Yeah this app is kinda worthless to me as well..... some of my family members do not have internet on their phones so can't use this app!
Something though.. my sister can always send me MMS..... I am so sick of this kind of stuff with the iPhone.....

No. And you won't see US MMS apps in the UK store anyway. Seems a lot better than the US app

This is actually pretty cool. It sends a link for internet enabled phones that they just click, no id or passwords or whatever and for phones without internet it sends a text saying "so and so sent you a pic message, do you want to view it?" And all they have to do is reply "Y" and they get a true mms message

Dunno how you guys are doing it, but I think the free mms app works great. It sends a message to the recipient's phone in which you must reply with Y when you receive the first text message. Afterwards it sends another text with the image. I tried sending a second mms to the same phone and it sent the pic automatically. So essentially, when you send a pic to the phone for the first time, they have to reply with Y, then afterwards you can send mms' to them with no problem.
My test phone I sent it to was my gf's old school samsung phone, which is still on gprs...
Works great!
