So Ive read all the posts and any other material out there on getting the remote app setup and at one time a while back I had it working and it quit and Ive been unable to get working again. The steps Ive taken so far are to set my firewall settings on windows FW, third party FW and router FW. I even turned all them off and tried it. Ive gone through preferences in itunes and set everything up I knew to set up including sharing library over local network I have also J/B my 3G since then and reinstalled remote sveral times. I have iTunes 8. The strange thing to me is that itunes recognizes my phone over wifi and allows me to enter the password so my phone and computer are communicating but when It tries to find my library it cant connect. Ive tried everything I can possibly think of. Can anyone think of anything I havent done yet?

I reset my router settings and it worked thanks for the help.

I spoke too soon i had it working.. Lost it again tried to go back through the same steps as before but nothing. Just cant seem to figure it out.

I had the same problem and spent over an hour with tech and removing itunes and reinstalling itunes on your computer did it for me. Hope this helps you out.
