IP Vision released - monitor IP cameras from your iPhone

IP Vision is an app that displays video streams from IP cameras or video servers on iPhone/iPod touch. It gets the data directly from the camera, no additional sw is required.

You can monitor your home/office camera or just watch public cameras around the world.

Click the image to open in full size.

It is available on the app store: IP Vision

Ill try it out right away. But most IP cameras come with software and a built in server so all you need to do is log into your IP on your computer and view. Unless im missing something?

Some cameras work in Safari others don't.
The ones that do, the image is too small and you can not resize (at least the ones I've tested)

That's why I decided to write an app to be able to watch my cameras.

I am also having fun watching real time videos from public cameras.

With IP Vision, the video image is shown in its original size.

I am working on an update that will show 3 images on the screen simultaneously. The iPhone can not handle 3 motion films at the same time. It will show one full motion video and two static images updated every xxx secs.

Thats the one i have and view it on my iphone just fine. As long as the camera uses MJPEG, your fine. And yes, you can resize the immage and zoom into any area you want. No additional software is needed.

I have to add this too, sorry

You can also use your webcam as a security camera/motion detector on your computer with a free program called "Yawcam". You can view your $10 web cam over the internet through your Iphone.
