Default SnapTell Explorer - Product Image Recognition
I just found this great app this morning and had to post about it. Here is the iTunes description:

Snap a picture of the cover of any book, DVD, CD, or video game and within seconds see a rating, description, and links to Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, IMDb, ebay, Barnes & Noble, and more. Use this app while shopping in a store to quickly find more information, compare prices, buy the product, or leave a reminder to look at the product later.

Currently, items sold in the US are supported but we are adding support for international items soon.

I've tried it and it works surprisingly well! This is definitely an app to have on the iPhone.

No, not at all. This app allows you to take a photo of the cover of a product... it automatically figures out what that product is... and then looks up prices/reviews on it. Amazon's app does not do that.

It only takes about 10 seconds to find the product with SnapTell.

Which Amazon app are you talking about? The app I have doesn't have a photo feature (at least that I can find). You have to type in the product name.
