App Store registration without a payment method
Hi,
Moderator, I'm not sure this is the right place for this topic, please move it if it's in the wrong place.
Is there any way I can register to App Store without given my CC details or any other payment method.
I found some info in google registration without a credit cardbut it doesn't work, at least not for the UK.
Any other method I could try to download free apps from App Store?
Thanks in advance

buy a US Dollar iTunes voucher, and click on redeem, you can sign up then without a credit card.
However you need two things before your start
1. a valid US iTunes voucher, you can buy these on ebay and else where on the web. usually you are emailed a code to use.
2. a valid US postal address, google any branch of starbucks or McDonald's remember to use the proper zip code, or use a friend
Be careful where you buy your codes, some have been known to be stolen!!!!!Eric's iPhone 4 4.01 offically unlocked

You can try the method suggested by Apple Support Create an iTunes App Store account without a credit card but it did not work for me and I live in the UK. Some people got lucky with that method.

Yesterday I reported to Apple the error while creating an account using their suggested method.
Today I got the following email
"Dear XYZ,
I understand you are having an issue creating an account in itunes at this time.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I will be contacting you soon.
Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available.
Thank you for your patience. Apple wants your iTunes experience to be as enjoyable as possible.
Thank you for being a member of our iTunes Store community. Have a great day XYZ!

You should be able to use an AOL account.. and with AOL accounts you can also use AIM accounts. If you dont have on just get one. They are free and all you have to do is when your in iTunes choose the AOL account. Thats how i got my friend to get his iPhone to access itunes on his PC

This is the same as the one that Apple tells you about. But I tried the one with wind mac and it worked for me. Are you on iTunes 8? Also you can change the country you are in so that it will work. Go to iTunes store, scroll to the very bottom and there is a option to chose your country of residence.
