I recently, in a moment of stupidity, wiped (not deleted, but wiped) my itunes folder from my music folder causeing me to lose all my appstore apps. I haven't synched my iphone since then because doing so will cause me to lose my beloved Tris which cannot be downloaded from the app-store any longer. I would like to find out if it is possible to drag and drop these files to the itunes folder to keep my apps.
I can find the app files under files/private/var/mobile/applications/.... but now what? Which files do I need to place back in itunes?.... is actually possible?

You should be able, when you connect and sync, iTunes will prompt you saying "There are applications on your device that are not on your computer. Do you wish to import them? (If not, they will be wiped)". Select 'Yes' or 'Import' and it should import them. I don't know why you'd loose Tris as it would simply replace it on your computer (Apple isn't that evil).

Thanks for the response... but Apple is that evil. When I sync it asks 'Are you sure you want to sync applications? All existing applications and their data on the iPhone "iPhone" will be replaced with applications from this iTunes library.' Meaning that I am back to square one: Is there a way to just pull the correct files out the iPhone using iPhone pc suite? Pulling cydia files out is a piece of cake... but this seems to be different... thanks to anyone who can help.

Im sure you can pull them....but I dont know if thats a good idea, and I dont think you can import them into Itunes that way.

Prolly your best bet....would be to re-download them in itunes (you wont have to pay again, it will know you've already purchased them through your itunes account). That way they are there when you sync.

Im surprised though, you should just be able to sync without a problem.

,...you are using cracked .ipa APP, that's why you can't import them back..
