I have the air mouse app form the appstore and it works great but I want to know if there is a similar app that uses the accelerometer instead of an on screen touchpad, a bit like the Logitech MX AIR.

Read the directions on their support website. The app does do both, ie, a touch screen and accelerometer based movement.

Bit off topic but i just purchased this app but there web site is down, anyone know where i can dl the software for the pc?
