warning re: app store apps and the cydia app, Rename

I recently had a few apps from the App store not work, they would just say"could not open" I didn't think to much about it until my app Lockbox Pro would not open wich had all my passwords in it.

It turned out that all the apps that i had this issue with i had changed there names with "Rename" app from Cydia. Just to confirm this i changed the name of one to find it wouldnt open anymore. After re loading all my apps again they all work fine.

It seemed to only affect the apps from the App store.

Just thought i'd share.

Well I for one am glad you are sharing this. I was about to give this app a go at. I am glad you found a way to get the passwords back.

Thanks

That's kinda odd. I'm running 2.1 on my 2G iPhone and have renamed several AppStore & Cydia apps with no problems...

I'm running 2.0.2 and had the issue, dont know why. I'd really love to continue using it on my app store apps but dont want to take the chance right now.

....And i never got my passwords back, still trying to figure out what some of them are. I quess its my fault for not having them somewhere else.
