Touchgrind, multi-touch skateboarding game

I was searching the forums and noticed nobody has commented on the Illusion Labs game, Touchgrind. Has nobody heard of it or is nobody excited about it? It looks sweet. pretty much a virtual fingerboard. Its supposedly coming out in October, hopefully soon. Meh. Would be better if there were say a 1st person view vs only the view from the top.

i hope they make the game to its potential and it could be great. Heath rox, i agree with you about the ramps and some rails and stuff because flatland will def limit the fun but if they use it to the iphone's potential, they could make one nasty game. Dalopesinator, i think it would be much harder to make it in 1st person view, i mean how would you do tricks, this seams to be more of a technical game, using your fingers as the feet on the board. It's kind of like the game skate for ps3 and not as arcadey like THPS. All in all, it looks a lot better than many of the games in the app store.

i agree with everyone - that is to say, i think this looks really cool, but i also hope to see more ramps, grinds, and a better view possibly? looks fun. hopefully it is.

maybe with third person view with a transparent board off to the side and you perform the tricks there.

it's a good idea... but i'm not sure how entertaining it'll actually be.

it has potential to be very big. with a few small changes (ramps, rails, etc and an option to change the view; it will be solid. i look forward to this and hope they spice it up before the release. thank you for sharing

Eh that doesnt look all that fun, maybe to show to mates. But to play? Hmmmm.

Just unlocked all the boards in the game. Great use of the the iPhone's features. Nailed some insane tricks with the better boards, got over a mill on a single trick lol. I thought this game was gonna be impossible at first when I thought I had to get a score of 1,500,000 using one of the lower level boards, but after I started unlocking the better boards tricks became easier and it was much much easier to pull of combos!

I would like to see some REAL competitions against others instead of just competing against yourself(either against computers or wi-fi).
Some new skateparks would be nice. (Half Pipes and Bowls would be crazy)
Maybe different zoom levels (very difficult to see where you're going, I just stayed near this one rail the whole time).
Better Turning!
Is it possible to implement grab tricks?
Maybe the ability to view replays and save them?

What do you guys think of this game?
