Tv Shows not playin on Iphone

I purchased tv shows (2) Heroes and they show on Itunes (version 8) And when I try to put them on my iphone it tells me that the format will not play on my Iphone. I have ver 2.1 on Iphone and dont understand why is not letting me add the tv shows to phone.

When you open the file on your computer, it should open up Quicktime. In quicktime, reformat the file for iphone and once the conversion is done, it will be in your video tab and it will sync with your phone (You do need Quicktime Pro)
