I was able to update to it last night. It is awesome, way better than I expected!!! It's much easier to get around to everything you need, and searching for friends is easy now!

Updated this morning, the icon even looks better, might have to change it back to stock facebook one. Its great.

my keyboard wouldnt let me type in my login info originally, i just went back to the homescreen and reopened the app and it worked..

this is great and has been a wonderful update. like others said; too bad myspace wouldnt do something like this. facebook app > myspace app any day!

i've noticed that my requests page won't update. it says it's updating/reloading but there are 2 friend requests and 1 event invite, but only 1 friend request is showing...anyone else seeing this?

This exact same thing happened to me. I kinda freaked at first but its all good now. Just waiting on MySpace to do the same and update however...

I rarely use facebook.com because it feels like a complete information overload, which was the main reason I enjoyed the mobile app. I won't dispute that they have put out a quality app, but I wish there was a toned down version too.
