i too m having the same issue. i thot it was the result of some problem which had made Installer crash earlier for me. So is guess this is a universal problem (bug).

note: actually newskin has mistakenly written it as AppStore...it is Installer.

thanks for the replies again fellas, u guys are right. it is the installer icon. how did i mistake it for the app store icon?, i guess cause i never use either. Please delete or move this thread mods, thanks again all.

i have installer and when it has a 0 it means theres no updates just like app store.i contacted the developer and it will notify you if your apps have a update
