Third party video player app?

I currently use a pda to watch recorded football games on my commute. My biggest hesitation to get the ipod touch is the lack of a xx second skip function (I set my pda to fast forward 25 seconds to skip the dead time in between most plays).

Is there an app out there that can do this? I tried searching. Thanks.
