Update: Hot diggidie!!!! It works . Either this changed with an update -or- I was brain-dead before. I'm a very happy camper. You the man!!

I just updated Air Sharing on the iPhone (2.1.2) and can not get the symlink to work ----- again
So I deleted it from the iPhone, reinstalled the older version from iTunes (I had not sync'd yet) ... found the new installed directory and created the symlink the usual way. I still can't get the root symlink to work.

cd private/var/mobile/Applications/09E9FF77-8DCD-4A99-9AB9-6D788F26AC26/Documents/Air\ Sharing
ln -s / ./root
...or...
ln -s / /private/var/mobile/Applications/09E9FF77-8DCD-4A99-9AB9-6D788F26AC26/Documents/Air\ Sharing/root

Any Suggestions?
