Looking for Homework/Organizer/College Related App
I will be starting school again this week. Just picked up my iPhone 2 days ago. Love it to death, I came from an AT&T tilt. The fun factor on this phone blows any phone that I ever had away. I want a program where I can log my homework assignments possibly sync them to my PC, etc. Anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks guys. iPhone Luv
George

iprocrastinator (might have the name wrong) is tailored for students to keep track of homework and stuff. Not sure about syncing to PC, though.
If syncing is a must, I find using Google Calendar with NuevaSync or Outlook works just as well. Just keep a different calendar per class and have them sync to your phone.

Theres a good application that i use called "Assignments" it may cost but it is worth the money and is perfect for students, lets you record your homework and add your classes it will also remind you when one is due soon and alot more and the next update for it brings alot to it.

I'd say either moleskine or ToDo list. Moleskine is prettier, but I picked todo liist for it's ease of use and it's date system.

It looks like the OP is using a PC, so this may not work. But if you are using your iPhone with a Mac, the app store has an app called Things that also has a Mac counterpart.
Things is a GTD app, but I've used it for lists and other quick notes also.
And the really cool feature is it's sync. If both are running, or you start one with the other running, both will auto update via your wireless network.Last edited by hartphoto; 08-31-2008 at 03:42 PM. Reason: typos

I'd say iProcrastinator Mobile is the best so far... The dev is a student, so he/she seems to be into it for the utility rather than the money. There isnt any sync functionality yet, but it should be here in the coming weeks. Hey, its free, why not check it out?

The app named "Homeworkr" looks useful and relevant for your needs; it costs $2.99. The seller is asking for suggestions, so you can suggest a syncing function and maybe the ability to send yourself an e-mail or alert a number of days before the assignment is due.

Okay, I played with both iProcrastinator and Assignments and Assignments is better in my opinion. I deleted iProcrastinator and will use Assignments permanently.
