Guitar Hero Tap It! (mod for Tap Tap Revenge) 2.0

Probably the first mod for Tap Tap Revenge, and it's working.

It is still quite beta, so there might be some things that look strange, but it's worth using I think.


What you need:

- A jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch (with SSH installed)
- The Tap Tap program
- This folder: Guitar Hero Tap It!.zip
What you need to do:

The files located in the folder called "(These files must be placed in Aweso.ttrTheme)" must be placed in /var/root/mobile/Applications/(your TTR folder)/Tap Tap.app/Aweso.ttrTheme

The files located in the folder called "(These files must be placed in Tap Tap.app)" must be placed in /var/root/mobile/Applications/(your TTR folder)/Tap Tap.app

Edit: looks sweet and i think it is much easier to play now but still some images that needs to be replaced keep up the god work

Sweet Work. It worked for me, Kinda restarted the whole iphone when i first clicked it but after the re-boot, it worked fine. Thanks!

Okay guys I have great news!

It's no longer a beta! Version 2 of the mod is here!

I believe everything should work fine now (including 2Player mode).

I've updated every file from TTR and it looks much better than the first version I think! The menus, the notes, and every other file has been updated!

btw, thanks to Cajili for helping me with the 2P image.

I can't seem to find the folder when I SSH into my phone.

I can go into /var/root and then I only have Media and Library.

Am I suppose to create the mobile/Application folder in the root folder?

Im having the same problem. The instructions are for only the non 3g phones

How can you see the apps in winscp that you downloaded in itunes. When i go to applications, i only see apps such as calc,maps,stocks, etc,etc. Where are the apps that u download from the itunes store?

ok i found it. Go to/private/var/mobile/Applications/0BD43FF8-CF10-47E7-BE3F-B3BE7D033434/Tap Tap.app. This will get you going. Make sure you reboot. Its awsome, thanks guys!

Hmmm everything was working fine the other day, and now TapTap is the only app I can no longer open. It says "The application 'Tap Tap' cannot be opened." The only thing I did was sync, I wonder if that throws it off?

Beat me to it. I was going to say that. If the jerks didnt go to App store and kept it to Installer and Cydia we would have the itunes library. I installed it. Realised it didnt have custom music. Uninstalled it.

BUT great mod i like the style cant go wrong with Guitar Hero. Nice work

umm... ok, i have /var/root or i have /var/mobile/app, not a combination of the two..
