apps wont sync!

hey i have an unlocked ifone and i just got an app from the itunes app store but it wont sync onto it? do i have to upgrade to 2.0 to get these apps?

i have the same problem?

but its on a pwnd 2.0 1st gen unlocked.

apps say error syncing because i dont have proper permission to download these apps to phone.

i set up an account and downloaded myspace app and a few more free ones.
everything went fine.

tried to sync 5 apps, only got two onto phone, said improper permission.

waited a day, tried the same 5 apps plus a couple more, lost the two i had already and failed to sync all the apps!

no apps on phone now.

just for info, my account was setup with my yahoo id
and the phone in question has contacts synced to yahoo address book but to a different account.
problem?
then why did two apps sync yesterday?
but all are failing now?
