VNC to control Mac when attached to TV

I often attach my MacBook to my TV through HDMI cables so that I can watch movies and TV online. I would love to use my iPhone to control it so that I don't have to constantly hop off of the couch. Yes - I'm that f'in lazy It doesn't look like the Mocha VNC program will do it. Any suggestions or other ways to get it done? Thanks!

bconner, he doesnt have a remote for his macbook most likely. Wait for TouchPad Pro to be ported to 2.0, then just use that. $15 for full version, control your computer ANYWHERE in world, i bought it on 1.1.x and it works perfectly and still works... well not 2.0. You need TightVNC as well for any VNC client on iPhone/iPod Touch

Touchpad pro was perfect for this. I have a mini hooked up to my TV in living room and touchpad was great for this setup.

Anyone know if its coming to the appstore?
