Review - iPark
I paid 99 cents for this application and thus far, it SUCKS! Has anyone else dowloaded it. I expected it to let me hit the button when I parked (ie at the mall, stadium, theme park, etc) and then when I wanted to be able to find my car. I thought it was a simple premise.
But when you click on the button to find your car, it's a street view. But the parking lots aren't on streets, it doesn't have directions. I thought it would just lead you there, but I can't get it to work right.
So far, I would recommend NO ONE to get this app unless it's fixed.
Anyone have any luck with this one?

I have been unable to find my car before. It would be useful for the city, but I wouldn't buy it

Uhm... Not everyone pays over $20,000 for a car. Most car owners probably paid under $10,000.
Also, I agree completely with bredfan. Parking in large lots at sporting events or concerts can be confusing.

uhm, its a review? No need to shoot the person down in flames for passing the information onto everyone!

LOL hey it happens some times!! especially after long days at an amusement park or if you travel a lot and go to the airport ever week all the parking spots can run together. this is not a totally worthless app it does have its place.

What kind of jackass are you? Not to mention you clearly have no idea what an investment is. Do you never leave your house? Have you ever parked at a large event? How about in a multistory multi street garage?
Next, buying a car is not an investment you moron. Here let me break it down for you. Investing: the act of investing; laying out money or capital in an enterprise with the expectation of profit
Did you buy your $20,000 car expecting it's value to go up? The moment you sat in the car you caused the value to depreciate.
Now stop your useless posting unless your going to stay on topic and not act like a 12 year old who has never owned a car.

first off you didn't make ONE constructive statement regarding the app (just whining) and second, its doesn't matter the correct definition of a word or how much a car depreciates every year, however it does matter if your incapable of remembering where it is and you need to have an app tell you. try to imagine what you'd do if you didn't have a car for a day...yeah walking is one but most people are fat and lazy (in US that is), now how can you ever forget where that item you use prob more than a cell phone (even an iphone) is?

whateverman you obviously have never been so drunk you had to call a buddy to come pick you up then blacked out and not remembered where your car was the next day.... Well me neither but that would be about the best situation for this app that i could think of. I have known a few women who would get lost in parking lots and at sport events or Disneyland they would forget what section they are in :P

whateverman you are very a very ignorant person. Your mental capability to remeber where you parked is YOUR capability, not every individual. Also if you havnt any constructive comments than please keep to yourself. The last thing we need on MMi is a butt hole. If you ever feel like placing another comment like this please remember this simple equation I made for you.
Whateverman = Whateverman
but
Whateverman [does not] = 6 Billion People.

i actually did make a constructive comment, this is a review after all but i was also making my argument and thanks for the equation you made me so i made you one:
Dan0609=just another whiner
just another whiner=useless, pointless
therfore, Dan0609=useless, pointless

although this arguing has been fun I'm going to have to contradict myself (yeah i know
) and say that even I'd probably write where i parked down at an MLB/NFL game or another place that i could possibly get drunk and totally forget however, for normal everyday use...I still stand with my original post
and dan, you're not useless just had to return the favor and make u an equation too
oh and ur sig is f**kin hilariousLast edited by whateverman24791; 07-21-2008 at 11:53 AM.

Here's an idea use google maps and add a location pointer
save it as a contact with a photo of the parking space number if they have it. It's what I do when I park at places I am unfamiliar with.
