iLoveControl
I am thinking about picking this up today, but am unsure about it. I want it to act like a universal remote, but I am afraid it wont. If it does I will get it. Does anyone have it or know how it will work?

well its suppose to be an all-in-one remote controlling tv, lights, music and what not. I have not tried it yet but here are some pics of it
This is what there website says:
So not unless you have one already in place then this app is useless. Here is their website:works with all home automation systems that support our patented IP protocol.

It wont work like a normal remote without additional hardware. The iphone has no IR module, so there is no way to send codes to other devices.

This COmpany, Probaly ILove or something installs 10s of thousands dollar systems in rich peoples houses and everything is hooked up to a network, blinds, tvs, lights, fans, hot tubs posisbly, probably almost anything, and they give you some kind universal wireless remote, and u can probably do stuff over the internet.. so it is pretty much the itunes remote for your house, on crack.. so unless you have there system install it is uselesss

You will have to get the company to set it up for you. 250$ for setup.
When they set it up they give you an actual remote to do it. The only difference here is you can do it with the iPhone.

iLoveControl is made by Crestron - the biggest Home Automation company in the world. So yes, you would probably need to already have a Crestron system installed in your home or office ($1,000s to $ 10's of thousands per system) in order to use it as another means to control the system.
Cool concept - as there are literally 10's of thousands of people with Crestron in their home or office.

They can set up most of them to work with their control though, 250$ setup.
