How to Customize AppStore Apps
I found this on MacRumors and thought I'd share:
Here's how you can add custom graphics and icons to your AppStore App Downloads:
Download an App from the AppStore
Click "Applications"
Click the App you want to customize
Hit cmd-R to show it in the Finder
Name the file from AppName.ipa to AppName.zip
Double click the new .zip file
Open the AppName folder
Open "Payload" folder
Right click on "AppName" and show package contents
You should now have access to all the files in the App21.5" iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 l 15" MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 l 17" PowerBook 1.67 GHz

ya if you use winzip it works too to extract, you will see the normal APP folder, go there change the icon, but I also tried for the heck of it to ssh to my 1.14 phone, app shows up but even with 0755 permissions, no luck it opens and closes just thought I would try

What do you do after you change the icon? Do you have to rezip?

Sure ther icons might be nice, but some of us like transparent icons, or all one color or theme related. It kind of looks lame if some icons are themed and others are stock.
One solution is to put app store icons on a different page, or once Categories comes out, hide them in a menu, but I'm pretty retentive aobut things "matching".
If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.
