Screen Protector

Is there any good iPhone screen protector that doesn't hinder anything or take away from the beauty of the screen?

Just about any of the multitudes of protectors out there will get the job done. I paid approx. $3.00 for a pack of two of them from dealextreme. They are perfectly clear and dont affect the screen brightness or resolution at all.

If you you want to avoid wiping fingerprints off your screen then get the Power Support Anti-Glare Film from the Apple store. I use it and I like it alot. I used the Crystal Film one and had to wipe off fingerprints all the time.

Screen protectors are a waist of time IMO. The screen on the phone is quite durable and resists scratches quite well. The chrome around the screen is more likely to be scratched. Also screen protectors tend to peel away after time & can leave a residue behind. That’s just my opinion though

yes the screen does resist scratches but it does not resist fingerprints. That is why I use the anti-glare protector.

I have also noticed that the screen is very scratch resistant. I have had my phone for a long time now, and not a single scratch on the screen. Screen protectors do help alot with the fingerprints though. It's totally your call. But I don't think you actually need one to protect the screen from getting scratched.

Well better safe than sorry, in my opinion; if I decided I surely wanted one, what would you recommend as best?

I've heard so much controversy-that's why I'm asking. Some people say cheap-o packs of protectors work great, while others claim that those suck and leave residue. Others swear by Best Skin Ever... I just don't know!!!

No need for bumping, it's just immature and annoying. Instead of making you feel bad, I'll voice my opinion... BSE (BestSkinEver). You can just buy the front screen protector for under $6, it's durable and reliable.

EDIT: Take that advertising crap off your signature before an admin takes action.

Mkay, didn't think a free iPhone was crap but I suppose some people are touchy.

Should I have made a new topic instead? I normally wouldn't bump, but as it obviously needed it since no one was seeing this thread, I thought it was appropriate.

But thanks for the suggestion-it does seem that despite a lot of controversy over other screen protectors, BSEs haven't had anything said bad about them. They really aren't expensive either; is shipping free?

I've had BSE and the Anti glare film and I would recommend the Anti Glare Film. It's much better in terms of fingerprints (as stated above).

I just bought a mirror screen protector and I'm going to sell it.

The Power Support Anti-Glare Film? Well thanks! It's nice to get a review from someone with experience with more than one protector!
