Thread: Who here uses a Lifeproof case? I have a question

Default Who here uses a Lifeproof case? I have a question
I got a life proof for my birthday and I did a water test and it passed. No water in the case. I had three small gaps by the headphone jack, sleep and wake button, and bottom right speaker. I did two more water tests to make sure that it was fine to use. It passed both water tests.
    Does the case look defective?

I have a lifeproof case since they came out. Some of the pictures espically the last one doesn't look like the case is all the way closed. I done had my case replaced a couple times for free. They sent me another case. And I send the old one back. Ya may want to give them a call or if ya have Facebook you can chat with them there. But i just came back from the beach. And it's good to know that when the phone gits wet nothing will happen. Love my case. Hope I answered ya question for

Bring it back to em and show them. They will give ya another one. Unless ya feel good about that one. The one I have don't have any gaps in it like that.

Well I contacted the Lifeproof Customer Support Team and I told them about the gaps and the three water tests. They said it was fine because no water got into the case but I told them about where in the gaps there was a little bit of water. Like little tiny water dots in there. They still said it was

The thing is thou if us drop ya case and it hits the gaps and you don't notice it. It may cause problems down the line. If I were you and best buy not to far away. I would return it to them. And git another one. Show them were the gaps are and tell them ya want to see another case if it looks like that or not.

I rarely drop my phone but it's better safe then sorry. If I do drop my phone I'll do a water test on it like it says but I might go to bestbuy this Friday and get a new case. Do I just need the receipt and that's it?

Yep that should be good. Father in law had the same issue. But his gaps were bigger than yours and still passed the water test. Brought it to best buy and they put another case on and was alot better.

Does that mean I get another black case right?

Well I got the new case, did a water test and it passed. Opened it up with a quarter and from the quarter theres a mark from it and o ring on the side came out a little bit. Another water test to make sure that it's still water proof or not? I used the part where its suppose to be. that little area

Press a little harder it should work. Mines takes a little to break it in

I'm very worried about my case but the O Ring is suppose to come off and everything. Heard tons of snaps when I put it on which is a good thing and now it's time to water test it in a few mins.

Did the water test and it worked. Just in case the water does get inside of the case what would I notice?
