Apple component cable problems with 3GS
I get a message saying "this accessory is not supported" message.
I have latest iOS software. Funny how something that is made by Apple doesn't work with Apple.
Will I have to wait for a software update?

There's component cables designed for 3G & lower. The component cables needed for iPhone 3G & 4, require the better chip inside. Did u buy it from the AppleStore? If u bought it elswhere, there's many fakes or lesser knock off cables in real boxes! Good luck, I hope u get it figured out!

Also, I see u have "component" in the title. Not to suggest anything, only want to help but could u confirm ur using a component "Red, Green & Blue" & not a composite "Red, Yellow & White" cable? Also that ur using it with a compatible tv &/or if there's a setting within the tv itself, is it set for the correct cable?
