Replace iPhone 3gs camera

Hi guys
As i was dissembling the iphone 3gs I accedntly cut the cameras plug.
I want to replace it with a new camera, does anyone know if I could replace it with an iphone 4 camera??
If not, how much does the iphone 3gs camera cost??

I would think that the iPhone 4 camera will not work with the 3GS, totally different camera (mega pixel wise), a replacement for the 3GS is about $5 on eBay
