Aside from the antennagate problem that seems to be bothering some i4 users, I'd personally use a case to protect my i4, seeing as the device is pretty expensive, and I wouldn't want the beautiful design harmed.
I saw a clear case that will fit my i4 perfectly, without it losing it's beauty. I'll look it up for you.

I have invisishield on my i4 and I really did not want to use a case
But I dropped it twice without a case( no scuffs or anything showing)
And Now I'm paranoid not to use a case
Waiting for my incase snap on to come in

I'd definitely recommend getting a case... only problem is... which one? I ordered a free bumper for now. My phone keeps slipping out of my pockets, so I need something that has some type of grip. I'm hoping switcheasy comes out with a new version of the CapsuleNeo, I loved that case for my 3g. It came with an extra layer of protection, which I thought was great. I'm not the type to switch cases, so an extra minute taking it off didn't bother me.

Personal pref really but I like the hard barely there cases. Alse element vapor case for the i4 is sweet. A bit spendy though.

It really depends on what you are looking for,
You can Google search for relevant keywords, you will know the price and kinds of this product line.
For example,keywords:fashion iphone cases

No matter how careful you are, there will be a day where you drop your iPhone 4. I'm super careful but I admit I've dropped it already since I got it 3 months ago. Dropped it once on wood floors (luckily I already got my case in the mail).
Personal pref is obvious in choose a case. I would love to stick a invisible skin on it so the natural slim feel stays in tact but that's out of the question because those things do nothing to protect from falls. I personally like slider cases (very secure). Don't like the otterbox line since they're too bulky and sort of ugly...
I own 2 Casecrown sliders (polycarbonate and diag line) that prove sturdy if dropped. I have a Speck candyshell but it is a bit bulkier and hard to take off. I use that one the least. Also have a Griffin reveal which has the clear plastic back and bumper type edge. Very secure and protective.
Casecrown is my fav though, not largely known I suppose but it is cheaper than many cases and the quality is really fantastic for the prices.

I have a case that is made out of a sponge like material on my i4. It is made by RocketFish. Best case I have ever owned.

You can put it in a big, ugly, super protective Otterbox or the like. I had a clear thin snap on case initially....then I saw the Vapour 4 cases. That's what I use now ( and NO, it does not affect my signal at all ) it's in keeping with the aesthetics and quality of the iPhone 4 and I just slip it into a leather belt holster from Nutshell Leather Cases when I'm at work.
