I like the Richard Solo, if you wanna see a review of it I did one a few days ago on my channel. I am not going to post the link because I don't want to keep posting links, check out another thread I made to see it.

I like the Kensington, I've tried several battery packs and this one actually can charge my battery from about 20% back to 100% twice per charge. It's a little smaller than the iPhone itself, fits great in cargo pockets and such. Here's a link.
Newegg.com - Kensington Compatible with any iPod with dock connector. Excluding 3rd Generation iPod. Battery Chemistry: Lithium-Ion Polymer Certifications: cULus, CE, FCC Input: 5VD

if u can find the zipcharge anywhere for sale yet it uses lithium cathode cell so it can quick charge the 1100mah external battery in 10mins then normal charge the iphone. 1100mah may not be that big but charging it in 10mins is a Godsend....anyone else know of an external battery or battery case that uses the new lithium cathodes?

i recently bought the duracell instant charger and found it to be extremely compact and give me ample amount of extra hours for my iphone. its slim, sexy and lightweight. the annoying thing is that you have to carry your ipod cable. you can get it as low as $20 at [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Duracell-Instant-Charger-Lithium-universal/dp/B002FU6KF2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1268750797&sr=8-1"]amazon[/ame]. it was so nice that i bought another one for my mom.
here's some attached pictures of the productLast edited by ojx; 03-16-2010 at 08:59 AM.

I use the Mophie Juice Pack air. It's a case, and it adds a bit of thickness to the phone, but it's the thinnest battery-in-a-case solution available for the iPhone. It can sync and charge your iPhone without removing it through micro-USB, and can simultaneously charge the case. It also has a switch on the bottom so you can turn the iPhone charging on or off, and the speaker/mic are not only not blocked, but the case acts as a sort of "megaphone" and directs all the sound toward you, making it louder. Overall, I would not trade this case for any other external battery solution, and I have never completely killed both batteries in one day, though I've come DANGEROUSLY close

Probably the imp500 from
IPhone Battery Pack, Backup Extender 3G s, External Power IPhone
Capacity is about 300% higher when compared to Richard Solo, compared to Incase probably 400 % higher. Lenmark and Kingsington can't compete with the imp500 in terms of capacity.
Check out their site they also have videos on it also to view.

Yeah the imps are the biggest out there that I've seen I have the imp550 it's a case which is handy for me, but if u don't want a case the imp500 is your best bet, at 5500mah u won't need to u could be out in the bush for a week with heavy use and still not need a wall outlet, join this up to a direct USB solar panel ( best I've seen on eBay are 5v 425ma direct USB connection this means in good sun it takes about 2-3hrs to charge an iPhone directly or about 12hrs for the imp500 if u search round I'll be hard finding anothing that solar charges even half that speed, I'm planning on merging to of these together to make a 5v 850ma to cut down solar charge in half again, but female USB's that can accept more than 500ma I'm having trouble finding, if someone can point me in the right direction for one of these it would be greatly appreciated) and then ur off the grid for good, ( atleast for your iPhone)
Sorry for that bad typos guys but I think you get what I am saying
one thing I don't like about the iPhone is that it tries to know what I am saying and gets it wrong.Last edited by Remember God; 03-25-2010 at 04:02 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I had an external battery charger i got off ebay($10 from china) and used with my ipod, but sadly when i upgraded to an iphone it no longer worked. I wish i could find another one for that price it worked great. It seems like there should be a cheaper solution than these ones.
