you can get a pioneer dehp-5000ub cd player, you can find one for around 120 new or maybe even less.It has a usb input so you can plug in your ipod cable and also has an auxilary input just in case. Its also really good at letting you brose your music right on the unit.

A pretty cheap solution is to get a blue-tooth//fm transmitter adapter. I got one for my wife's car recently and she loves it. I got her the Moto T505. It connects to your phone via blue-tooth, then allows you to play music and answer calls through your car's stereo. Sounds pretty good. Not as good as being hard wired but I was fairly impressed with the music quality and very impressed with the call quality.

That's IF you have an aux channel on your head unit, big IF.

It would be a big help if he could pull the stereo out and check. If he has it running subs it most likely has an Aux channel.
well i just got subs.. i havent hooked them up or anything.. but i dont know what im doing. my brother was going to set it up.. my old alpine i can check if it has an Aux channel.. but im throwing my alpine away... i have a uhh i forgot the brand but its a cd/dvd player that i will hook up if i cant find a cheap stareo that is easy to connect to my iphone.. but if my cd/dvd has an aux then it sounds like it should be easier and cheaper to just that cable

    thanks

I think you are supposed to get a car stereo with your iphone. But I suggest not to use your iphone too much as your battery will go down. You should use your car cd player.
