Ultra-Case Satin has apple shaped logo cutout (not a circle)!

Has anyone seen or used this product? Obviously I'm curious in the pink one, because I like the color combo with my 3GS black. Something I am considering is grabbing a skin and using the pieces of it in order to cover the chrome bezel.

Are there any *other* apple-shaped logo cutout cases out there? I think it looks hot.

Most cases ive seen with a cutout are just circle cuts, not in the shape of the apple. That looks nicer.

I really like that one also. The blue one (on their site) is pretty nice. Thanks for the post!

I actually ordered a couple of those for my wife and I. I ordered the gunmetal and she got the violet colored one. Havent received them yet though. I didnt think those were cutouts though. Thought it was a picture of an apple. Look on eBay also. There are sellers selling 5 for $10 that look EXACTLY the same.

Actually the ones on eBay look like the back of the iPhone.

Case came in today!

Hey all! Just got my Ultra-Case order AND my eBay 5 for 10 bucks order today! See attached pic. The left 2 are the Ultra with the cutout for the Apple logo. The right most is one of the ones from eBay. Looks just like the back of an iPhone right down to the 16GB stamp. Unfortunately my phone is 32GB!! The quality of the cases all seem to be the same. All made in Hong Kong! LOL!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey Orioles. How does the one on the way left protect the phone on the inside? Are they little rubber tracks or felt lined, or what. I've read a few reports of cases scratching their phones, so I'm concerned with how the case is constructed on the inside. Let me know. Looks great though. And they totally need a 32gb stamp for the one on the right!

Hey Orioles,

Do you mean they're the same "good" or the same "crappy" quality?

I was looking at those ebay cases as well. Are they pretty thin?

Also, did you really get 5 for $10? That's amazing. If you like them, could you point me towards the seller?

Thanks,
TiNB

Hey Shelly! There is no "protection" on the inside. The case just snaps on. All plastic inside and out. I would imagine some scuffing if not scratching will occur if you swap the colors often. But on the bright side, you wont see the scratches since they will be covered by the case.

Honestly? I would say they are good. They are what they are. Plastic. They are firm and not flimsy. The case is about 1mm thick if that but sturdy. The painted finish is nice also. Kind of a metali flack, glossy look. The eBay ones are a pretty darn good replica of the iPhone backing. Well worth the $10 for 5. Yes I did get 5! See the eBay link above.

A friend of mine got one of those cases, and it scuffed the back of her 3G from removing/installing the case...I got her an incase slider in pink and she's much happier--covers the chrome too.

I have one of the case mate kind that are similar to these and I was worried about it scuffing when swapping colors, (as I like to do from day to day) solution: invisible shield from zagg on just the back, case still fits nice and I dont have to worry about it ever scratching my beautiful white 32 gig 3gs!!

Yes but just to warn you guys the zagg invisible shield back part is not compatible with very many cases. Maybe some of the snap on kind but deffinatley not compatible with any type of slider case!! You might get it to slide in but you'll never get it out!! Be careful!!
