Case/Holster
I'm looking for a slim, barely there type case.
Any ideas? Ideally it would also have an option for a belt clip that works with the case on... I only use a belt clip during the day at work and keep it in my pocket when im out and about.
I was looking at the case-mate Barely There Cases
https://www.case-mate.com/iPhone-3G-...here-Cases.asp
also the new Agent18 that isn't out yet
Agent18: EcoShield Slider Case for iPhone
or the Agent18 SlimShield
Agent18: iPod Classic Case
I know none of those offer a belt clip... but it doesnt look like I will have much of a choice. doesnt seem to be much out there to offer a belt clip as well.

This is one the one I have: Power Support Crystal Jacket for iPhone 3G (Clear) - Apple Store (U.S.)
Pricey, but totally worth it, best case I have used hands down.

It's cute, but really pricy. I also have another suggestion, it's a cheap iPhone 3G case, may be the quality is not as good as Power Support, but the price is attractive.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the incase slider:

Try this guy out... seidio case/holster combo. It is $49 for both the holster and the case. It is as the OP wished, a "barely there" type case. Bottom slides off to dock the phone, its a hard case with a rubberized coating. The holster has a swivel clip and is "face in".
I've ONLY used Seidio Cases on any of previous phones (all blackberry). I HIGHLY recommend this guy!

^+2 been using this case for about a month now with Zwayne's recommendation, best one I've had.
Sleek and comfy.
Also, I use a screen protector and this case is awesome that it doesn't interfere while sliding it on and off if needed. I tried several and this was huge for me.

why do case makers keep putting that stupid apple logo cutout. that would be an awesome case if it didnt have that. its just a hole for dust and dirt to get in. \

That's one of the things I like about it is the apple cut out. I haven't tried the Incase slider, heard that one is sweet too, and no apple cut out.

this is where the apple stickers that come with EVERY apple device comes in handy... i just wish it wasn't white but, i colored it in with a perm marker after placing it over the hole... i also cut out a circle of some microfiber and placed it in the recess from the inside of the case... works like a champ...
