Griffin iTalk Pro + iPhone 2G (EDGE)

Hi all!

Could you say a word on Griffin iTalk Pro and iPhone 2G compatibility (with OS >= 2.2, of course)?
I found a piece of information:

but it turns out that TuneTalk is compatible with iPod Touch 1G, so maybe iTalk Pro works with iPhone 2G too?
