Hey man, i recently bought some new headphones (with the mic) for my iPhone 3G,
they're Nixon so you have no worries when expecting a good quality product.

There set at around $120-130 AU$, but are really worth it!

I have had no problem whatsoever with them falling out of my ear, they also have 3 replaceable ear buds to .

I have the Apple In-Ear buds and I love 'em. Gotta use the bass booster EQ otherwise they sound bassless for the most part. Only thing that doesn't work on them is the volume buttons but they weren't designed for the iPhone so that's why.

I have this one:

Standard Isolator Headset

The sound is probably not as good as others, but definitely good for casual listening and calls. The fact that is is retractable is great!

With the Nixon's, i have no problem with sound. They are sweet, For the first time i have actually put a limit on the sound for the iPod, because with these a bit over half way (on the volume meter) is what the original iPhone headphones sound was at haha.

hope that made sense. Happy with my product

NuForce NE-7M's. Look no further. Best audio quality, comparable to a 150-250$ IEM's, all for just 50$.

yeah i know that's what i was worried about at the time, but i have not had any regrets, the cords are also breaded, so its like a material thats tough to, so very durable!

I have the Shure i2c-m, paid only $20 for them from amazon with a discount have great sound quality, but the mic blows.

I have decided to try out the Radius Atomic Bass w/ mic. If you purchase it from the website and checkout with google, you can get a 20% off with "engadget" code, so it's only $40 instead of $50. They seem to be the best bang for the buck, being quite comparable to many other makes with a retail price of over $100.
