Cleaning Your Screen
For a lot of people, it might just really bug you because of all the smudges and prints on your screen. Possibly, it might just look unprofessional for you. Either way, I have a solution for safely cleaning your iPhone's screen making it incredibly smooth to the touch.
-What you'll need:
1. - Lens Cleaner OR Contact solution works as well
(This solution is only for glasses/contact wearers sorry
)
2. - A paper towel or clean cloth/rag
3. - Your iPhone/iPod Touch
First, dispense the solution onto the cloth. This will prevent any stray drops from rolling and entering the iPhone through the home button. Now, simply wipe the cloth over the drops and follow through until the cloth has covered the entire device. Repeat the drying process until the surface is completely dry and smooth.
*****DO NOT USE WINDEX OR ANY OTHER GLASS CLEANER SIMILAR TO IT AS IT IS KNOWN TO CAUSE ISSUES TO THE DEVICES TOUCH INTERFACE*****
***I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE OF THE DEVICE YOU USE THE METHOD WITH IN ANY WAY. I HAVEN'T YET ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM WITH THIS METHOD, SO IF YOU ENCOUNTER A PROBLEM, CONTACT ME AT ANY AVAILABLE METHOD.Last edited by thurbs190; 03-16-2009 at 07:25 PM. I breath heavy on the screen to get some moisture on it then use a soft cloth or my shorts (whichever is closer)
As an added benefit like a Friday after work the screen has an alcaholic clean

Yeah remove this too... I think the oards should have special moderators checking for spam...
Yes, seeing as it is capable of cleaning other electronic devices such as a computer, it would certainly suit the iPhone.Last edited by Broomhead; 03-20-2009 at 06:05 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Microfibre / microfiber cloth!
It cleans it perfectly. The fibers absorb oils, dust, etc with the huge surface area from the micro fibers and leaves it looking new in seconds. I use them to clean my phone, monitors, tv, laptop, digital camera lens, etc. They work like a charm.
Just don't use dryer sheets when you wash them or the residue from the dryer sheet will ruin their amazing properties.

I clean mine with my shirt. When I really get into it I take the phone out of the case,wipe it down with a windex wipe, and then stick it back in the garage.
