looking for a cable that may not exist

i have a vw that came with the ipod adapter in the armrest as opposed to an aux port in the glove box. now, neither the fitting or the closing of the armrest are conducive to a 3g. so my question is

is there a cable that has the female 3g connector on one end and the standard 3g male end on the other?

basically i'm looking for a cable that can be used as an extender, so i can plug the one end into the armrest adapter, close the armrest, and have my 3g in the cupholder and actually be able to use the iphone in ipod mode.
