i tried to sell a foot tall zippo on ebay and zippo threatened to sew if i didnt remove it or change the title since it wasnt an official zippo.

That's a pretty nice case, it looks very similar to the iPhone 3G Case I bought, but mine is blue.

I kinda like the Apple logo on the back, I'm sure it's not legal however.

i just got a black and green one and i love them!
they look great and the phone feels sturdier with it. The added width is nothing. I don't even notice it. They're great.

I wonder if a 3G case will fit it now?

Can anyone try theirs on a 3G and snap a pic? I would have wanted one to hide the blemishes on my old white 16GB iPhone 3G and my brother may want one yet.

I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to have the Apple logo and stuff on the back, but it's eBay so they are getting away with it. It looks like they were trying to give the illusion that the back of the case was actually the back of the iPhone itself. Not bad for $6 though.

I got the red and black one in the other week, I really like them. The added width is noticeable but minimal, and they seem to hold up well, cause the other night my drunk friend tried to throw mine onto a bed, and it hit the wall. Case and phone held up fine.

I have a 16GB 3G so I don't mind it saying so (provided it really does fit the 3G), but it appears that there are no "8GB" backs. So, market it to iPhone G1 owners as a way to front like it's a 3G and market it to 3G owners as a way to front that they have the more expensive model. Me? I just want a case that doesn't change the styling. Even the clear RocketFish one I got from Best Buy (it has an electrostatic screen cover) covers the silver hilights and scratches the reflective Apple logo when opening/closing.
