Has anyone tried to fit the Noel Collection Metallic case made for 3G Iphones, on their 2G? If so, can you provide pictures or reviews?

It wont fit.

Its a snug fit for the 3G.

The 2G is a bit slimmer and a bit thinner, it can fall out. Lol.

how can it falls out when its slimmer?
the thinner backing of the 2G should not matter as
the case snaps onto the edges of the phone and that's what keeps it locked

i have an LV backing designed for the 3G and it snapped onto my 2G just fine

The iPhone 1st generation (iPhone 2G) is more of a straight and flat brick.
and the iPhone 2nd generation (iPhone 3G) has an arch on the back.
Side by side comparision:

and i can probably guess that you know that the iPhone 2G has a flat shaped back


In a loose case, such as this one:


the iPhone (2G and 3G) will probably fit in something as loose as that, because they are relatively the same volume; just different shape.
So it depends on if the case that you're looking at is loose, tight, or somewhat tight.


and as for the front of the phone, I doubt it'll work perfectly. You could buy it and try it, and if it doesn't work just return it.

Anyone have one of those Noel cases? How are they?? worth the $$?

I bought the Rouge one for my girlfriend and she loves it.

Looks brilliant with the Mirror Screen Protector on the front.
It is prone to scratches the Noel Case, but its not very visible.

Its brilliant for a girl looking for bling IMO.
A guy with it, any colour, would look just ***.
