[ REVIEW ] Radius Atomic Bass Earphones

Japanese company Radius makes a pretty good set of earphones called Atomic Bass. They're available at [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Radius-RK-CA511K-Atomic-earphones-designed/dp/B001I1A5WS"]Amazon.com[/ame] for $49.99. We played with a pair for a while, and liked them.
The bass response was pretty good for the size - I'm not sure what Atomic Bass should sound like, but I don't think these sound Atomic.
They do have a much nicer bass than most this size. The response was smooth. High end wasn't as clear as I'd like - seems the time was spent pushing up the bass, not defining the clarity in vocals and treble. Wasn't muddy, but sounded like... well, like $50 earphones.
Talking to folks actually sounds great, and the mic picks up well. I had no complaints there.
Overall, if you're a fan of music with tons of bass, and don't want to go to a $100 or more pair, these are good. If you're looking for crystal clear accurate reproduction of your music, grab a diff pair. I like these for the range.
